a travel for a medical cause- Annamali-Nagar; Chidambaram

Hello friends am writing after a very long time. Due to busy schedule i hardly get the time to sit patiently and write. After registering for my MBA in hospital management course i got the opportunity to visit a small township very close to Puducherry. People called it a very rich town but sad to know that people live in a very backward kind of life-style. It was a 9hrs drive from Bangalore, with bumpy roads n some nausea in Ur mind did make me feel sick. Telling you people if you plan to travel by road make it a point that u carry enough food to eat or else u will feel hands without out food. the most interesting part of the journey is we get to see beautiful paddy fields that  relaxes your eyes from the every day stress of life.  Regarding the life style of the people is every where you go u get to see people use cycles to commute for place A to place B, the reason behind this is still a mystery. One more thing about that place is that there a very beautiful south Indian style Shiva temple(ppl call it koyl) in their local language. the eating habits of the people are they have a lot of rice recipes in the day time and parathas with  curry at night. The old aged ppl dress themselves in a draped sarees with out blouses (i.e the ladies) and the men dress in a white dothi. i visit the hospital to learn about the management  administration system of the hospital. they still have a lot to achieve to meet international standards despite so much of development of the hospital. One more specialty about the town is because of the Annamalai university n group of institutions there is a little bit of development. This place is very famous for weaving of  Jhari saries. so guys who are interested to travel should make a backpack travel to that place, just to see the reality of that place. Further more down when u travel u can get to go puducherry where is a tax free place for liquor and for people who want peace of mind can visit the famous "Sri Aurbindo Ashram".
this is about my experience to Annamali- nagar will post more experience as my travel list multiplies.
